For many, a career is a way to make an income. For some, it is an outlet to use their gifts and talents while also receiving fulfillment. For Mollie and Elise, White Label Studio is much more than a career or a business, it’s a personal expression of their lives. Strong in their faith, they believe in treating others with kindness, honesty, and integrity. They lead the White Label team with these values at the forefront of everything they do. White Label Studio was born out of a desire for more. Mollie and Elise wanted more for themselves, their families, and their clients. As working moms, they wanted to be more present for their families while also pursuing their passions, both personally and professionally. Then and now, this passion drives the purpose behind our growing agency as we look back on where we started and look ahead to where we are going.
After working together for six years at Mohawk Industries, Mollie and Elise started their own businesses in 2017. Elise started her own marketing company under the name Emerge Agency, while Mollie launched Mollie Surratt Marketing & Interiors.
While they had separate companies, Elise and Mollie found themselves constantly working together to support their clients. They are a creative duo with complementary passions, so it only made sense for them to join forces! They are “behind the scenes” marketers that help grow and strengthen their clients’ brands. As a team, they share over 45 years of experience in marketing with expertise in a broad range of areas.
Mollie is a creative who loves to write, plan events, and help clients succeed with the social media strategy, influencer collaborations and content creation. She is also a mom to two beautiful little girls, Caroline and Charlotte, who are very active and involved in the community. Fun fact, Mollie dreamed of owning a marketing agency since she was in college. She comes from a family of entrepreneurs and she has a passion for helping others accomplish their goals. She loves her fur babies, Sadie and Maggie, and has recently found a love for horses as both of her girls are involved in equestrianism. Her husband, Jason, is an executive in the flooring industry while also overseeing the financials for White Label Studio.
Elise excels in creating marketing strategies for brands, graphic design, website design, and video. She recently relocated from Atlanta, Ga to the mountains of Ellijay to enjoy a slower pace of life with her husband, Steve. She also has a passion for helping others, in particular those who are homeless. In collaboration with volunteers from local churches in Gilmer County, she helps run a warming center and is involved in a community outreach program that provides resources for the homeless. She loves spending time with her two dogs, Ella and Loyal, and her adult children, Morgan and Conner.
The passion of wanting more is still alive and present in how we treat our team members and our clients. We have a talented and ever-growing team of working mothers, cancer survivors, devoted dog-dads, husbands, wives, daughters, community leaders, and friends. They come from different backgrounds including corporate, small business, entrepreneurship, nonprofit, and previous agency experience. Each brings unique talents and areas of expertise as well as industry knowledge to White Label Studio. One of the most rewarding parts of owning the agency is supporting team members as they grow in their knowledge and accomplish goals they have set for themselves, both personally and professionally. We make it a priority to check in with each team member regularly to ensure they are living out their passion and purpose while doing incredible work for our clients.
The same is true for our clients! More like family, we celebrate the wins and mourn the losses both within their business and their personal life. We always strive to have an open line of communication with our clients, so that they can express their ideas and goals. We then take those conversations and build strategies and action plans to help their brands reach their full potential. As we grow and add clients to our roster, we always go back to our roots which started it all: a desire for more. We are open and transparent with clients that we will have their best interests at heart and strive to help them succeed while also respecting their time and resources. We believe this has helped us build long-lasting relationships built on trust.
While we have been blown away by the growth and success of this (once small) agency, we always keep the passion that began this journey at the forefront of all that we do. We still want more for ourselves, our families, and our clients. Seasons of life have changed and this looks different for each of us now, but we are so happy we took the leap of faith and stepped out of our comfort zone to begin this agency 3 years ago. We have accomplished more than we ever imagined possible while also being present for our families in ways we always dreamed we could be.
