At White Label Studio, faith is at the core of all we do. We strive to help others and make giving back a priority. That is why we are so passionate about working with Because Calhoun Cares to help those in need in our community during this time of uncertainty.

Because Calhoun Cares emerged out of the desire to support the community, its local businesses, healthcare heroes, and at-risk seniors during the COVID-19 crisis. King Street Market co-founder Denise Stripling has always been a visionary and a friend of White Label Studio, so when she saw the need in the community to feed our most vulnerable citizens while keeping the foodservice industry alive, she sprung into action.

Denise reached out to fellow restaurants and catering companies throughout Calhoun for partnership, and she contacted While Label Studio to support in marketing the effort. Together, the organization’s inaugural effort, The Food Chain Project, was born. Today, Denise and the Because Calhoun Cares team are fundraising, creating meals, and delivering food to those in need. In addition to creating the logo, website, and social media strategy, White Label Studio was honored to recently help deliver the first 250 meals to AdventHealth Hospital in Calhoun, Ga.

White Label Studio is based in Calhoun, Ga where co-founder, Mollie Surratt, lives and is raising her family. She and co-founder, Elise Demboski, worked together in Calhoun for many years before starting White Label Studio, and the community is very close to both of their hearts. The White Label Studio offices are nestled in downtown Calhoun. “As a small business, seeing other small businesses struggle during these unprecedented times, we knew that we wanted to help. When Denise reached out, it felt like the perfect opportunity to serve our community and help keep these small businesses afloat,” says Mollie Surratt and Elise Demboski, White Label Studio co-founders.

We encourage everyone to continue supporting local restaurants, shops, and other small businesses in your community during this time. Check-in with elderly and at-risk who may need critical food and supplies, and pray for our hospital workers as they are on the frontlines fighting this disease.
