It is hard to believe that 2021 is coming to a close! As we prepare to enter into 2022, we wanted to reflect on the past year and all that we have accomplished as a marketing agency. It’s crazy to believe that the small agency we began in 2019 has blossomed into a full-service marketing agency providing services in social media, public relations, content marketing, graphic design, production, and influencer management to over 30 brands. We began this year not knowing what 2021 would hold as the COVID-19 pandemic continued to transform the marketing landscape. We are blessed to say that we were able to grow business for our clients, attend and speak at an in-person influencer marketing conference, enter and win several marketing agency awards, and give back to our communities and neighbors. Here are just a few of the highlights for White Label Studio in 2021.

  1. We were able to attend the 2021 Haven Blogger Conference in Atlanta, GA.

When we first entered 2021, we were not sure if in-person events would be possible, but we were so grateful to attend the 2021 Haven Conference in Atlanta, Ga. Haven is a conference where experienced as well as up-and-coming home decor and DIY bloggers and influencers gather to hear from experts in the industry. It is a weekend full of learning best practices and how to grow their businesses. Brands and agencies who are involved in influencer marketing also attend the conference to meet bloggers and grow their influencer relationships. Our co-founder, Mollie Surratt, was a speaker at the event along with several of our clients for a panel discussion on “Working with Brands”. This was such a fruitful event as we were able to learn about the latest information in the influencer industry as well as speak with influencers and build relationships for future brand partnerships with our clients! We hope to attend again in 2022 in addition to attending the Design Influencers Conference in March 2022 which we will also be speaking at.

  1. We added several new clients, added business with existing clients, and grew our team.

When we began White Label Studio, we knew we wanted to put our clients first. We have both been on the other side of working with an agency and we never wanted our clients to feel like they weren’t getting our full attention. Working behind the scenes to help businesses grow is what we are passionate about and we love when a client shares how our work has helped them succeed. One of our biggest highlights from 2021 is the growth we have seen with our clients. We created new websites for Furniture of Dalton, North Georgia Brick, Largos, Game of Throwns and Bartow Roofing that are driving business for all brands. Twenty & Oak added SEO services that have helped them increase organic traffic and rankings. Novalis grew their influencer work across their three brands, ProCore, DuraDecor, and NovaFloor, with a combined 2.5 million impressions from influencer collaborations! We wish we could share all of the amazing highlights, but the list is extensive! We were also able to add several new team members including SEO Director, Shannon Henrici, Creative Manager, Abi Morrison, Digital Media Director, Angela Sickenger, and Creative Manager, Dionne Jones.

  1. We took home several prestigious marketing awards for our client work and overall agency.

We recently received news that our agency was awarded a PRSA Phoenix award for the Most Effective Influencer Promotion for our influencer work on behalf of our client, Carpet One Floor & Home. Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is a nonprofit trade association for public relations professionals. The Georgia chapter, which WLS is a member of, is the largest chapter in the US and we are honored to receive this award on behalf of Carpet One Floor & Home for our Shop Simple with Samples influencer collaboration. We also received several dotComm awards including: Lori Allen “Crash Your Book Club” Promotion with Harper Collins Publishing, Amber Interiors Influencer Collaboration with Horizon Stone, White Label Studio Team Achievement Award Submission, Raintree Floors Blog, Lori Allen Blog, LollyJane/ProCore Influencer Collaboration. Website awards were received for the Game of Thrownes website and the Horizon Stone interactive Stone Finder Quiz along with a Viddy Gold Award for the Enchanted Heritage Trend video we created for the Enchanted Heritage Trend.  We are so proud of these awards but more importantly, we are proud of the trust that our clients have in us to execute their digital marketing services.

  1. We were blessed to give back to our communities and neighbors.

We believe in giving back to our community and always strive to be a force for good. We donate our time and resources as a team and as individuals to causes that are close to our hearts. In 2021, we had the privilege of giving back through sponsorship of events like the Baxter Dean Junior Runway Show that empowers elementary age children to feel confident in their skin and raises funds for United Way of Gordon County as well as Baxter Dean Scholarships.

Elise Demboski, WLS co-founder, also has a huge passion for helping incarcerated and previously incarcerated individuals return to society. She heads the prison ministry for Good Samaritan Catholic Church and is actively involved in providing food and shelter for those in need through New Beginnings in Ellijay, GA. Mollie Surratt, WLS co-founder, also serves on the Gordon County Community Foundation board to help allocate needed funds to nonprofits in the area. One of our hopes when forming White Label Studio was to give back and bless others, and we are so grateful for the opportunities we have had this past year to do just that. We hope to continue giving back in 2022 in existing and new capacities.

As we enter into 2022, we can’t help but reflect on all of the accomplishments and blessings that 2021 held. We are forever grateful for our amazingly talented team, supportive families and friends, clients who are more like family, and God for His unwavering grace and guidance. We look forward to the year ahead and all that it has in store for us. God bless and happy new year!
